19-Year-Old Arrested for Attempted Murder and Robbery of Elderly Man

A 19-year-old has been arrested by the Police in connection with a case of attempted murder and robbery that took place on December 20, 2025, in the province of Nicosia. According to the complaint, the 19-year-old broke into the home of an 85-year-old man and assaulted him, subsequently stealing a sum of money. The elderly man remains hospitalized in serious condition at the Nicosia General Hospital. The Police are conducting investigations to determine all the circumstances of the case and to identify any accomplices. Investigations are continuing by the TAE Morfou.
