Israel Threatens to Bar International NGOs from Gaza Over Alleged Terror Ties

Israel has threatened to suspend access for international NGOs to Gaza unless they submit a complete list of their Palestinian employees by Wednesday. This decision is justified by claims that members of Doctors Without Borders have ties to terrorist organizations, specifically Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs specifically accuses two Doctors Without Borders workers of involvement in terrorist activities. NGOs that do not comply will have their operating licenses revoked from January 1, 2026, with continued work possible only until March 1, 2026. This move has raised concerns among international organizations as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens.
