Drug Arrests in Larnaca and Limassol Following Traffic Accident

Two individuals were arrested by the YKAN (Drug Squad) in the districts of Larnaca and Limassol for illegal possession of narcotics. In Larnaca, a 39-year-old was arrested following a traffic accident, with 24 nylon bags containing methamphetamine (14.7 grams) found in his possession. He was also driving without a license and insurance. In Limassol, a search of a 24-year-old's residence revealed three nylon bags containing cocaine (2.2 grams) and a precision scale. The 24-year-old was also arrested on the spot, and €1875 was confiscated for investigation into potential links with drug trafficking. The YKAN continues its investigations in both cases.
