Troodos: Hazardous Road Conditions Due to Landslides, Snow, and Ice

Due to adverse weather conditions in Troodos, some roads are hazardous or open only to four-wheel drive vehicles or those equipped with anti-slip chains. Specifically, the Prodromou-Troodos road is only open to such vehicles. Landslides have occurred on several roads, including Kalopanayiotis – Moutoulla – Pedoula, Kakopetria – Karvouna, and others. Other roads, such as Platron – Troodos, are open but slippery due to snow or ice.
