Interior Ministry Rejects Claims of Misleading Parliament on Co-owned Buildings Bill

The Ministry of Interior rejects the accusations of the President of the Parliamentary Committee on Interior, Aristos Damianos, regarding alleged misleading in relation to the promotion of the bill for co-owned buildings. The Ministry emphasizes that it has made every effort to submit a functional and applicable bill, which will solve the long-standing problems of owners and tenants. It points out that consultations have been held with the Provincial Self-Government Organizations (PSGOs) and a study has been provided on the cost and personnel required to implement the bill. The Ministry commits to further consultation and re-submission of the bill to Parliament.
