Iran Protests: Six Dead in Clashes Over Rising Prices

At least six people have been killed in Iran during clashes between protesters and security forces in three cities, due to demonstrations over rising prices and the cost of living. The protests began with a shopkeepers' strike and spread to other regions. According to the state-run Fars news agency, two deaths were reported in the city of Lordegan and three in the city of Azna. Additionally, one security force member was killed in the city of Kuhdasht. The current protests are smaller in scale compared to the unrest of 2022 triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini.
