Aris Mougkopetros Acquitted of Domestic Threat Charge

Aris Mougkopetros was acquitted of the charge of domestic threat, which was filed by his estranged wife, Dimitra Paraskevopoulou, on Christmas Day. The trial in Tripoli lasted three hours, and the court ruled that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the charge. Mr. Mougkopetros denied reports that he apologized to his children, stating that he respects his children and would not make any further statements. His lawyer, Demosthenes Peppas, emphasized his client's innocence and his desire to see his children. Additionally, two misdemeanor offenses, insult and violation of personal data, were reported, and the public prosecutor will decide whether to pursue further proceedings.
