A new wave of bad weather is expected to hit Greece from tonight, bringing a significant drop in temperature, strong winds and localized snowfall. Meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafilis warns of the arrival of cold polar air masses, which will cause a winter scene. The deterioration of the weather will begin in the northeast and extend to the southwest. In Attica, the temperature will range from 3 to 11 degrees Celsius, with north winds reaching almost gale force in the east. Rain or sleet is expected in the plains and some snow at altitudes up to 500 meters. The weekend will be characterized by rainfall, snowfall and strong winds, with particular attention to Crete where snowfall is forecast in mountainous and semi-mountainous areas.
