The European Commission is ready to work closely with the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU to deliver concrete results for people, Εxecutive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, Roxana Mînzatu has said.
Minzatu wrote on ‘X’ that she held a meeting on Tuesday with Cypriot Deputy Minister of Social Welfare Clea Papaellina, with whom she discussed combating poverty and reinforcing child wellbeing.
“We discussed combating poverty and reinforcing child wellbeing, including in the context of the EU’s comprehensive anti-poverty strategy and the strengthening of the Child Guarantee that I aim to deliver this year” Minzatu said on a post on ‘X’.
She added that the Commission is ready to work closely with the Cypriot Presidency to deliver concrete results for people.

Η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή εξέφρασε την ετοιμότητά της να συνεργαστεί στενά με την Κυπριακή Προεδρία του Συμβουλίου της ΕΕ για την επίτευξη απτών αποτελεσμάτων για τους πολίτες.
