Culture and Innovation: Four Significant Aid Packages Approved by the State Aid Supervisor

The State Aid Control Supervisor, Stella Michaelidou, has approved four significant aid packages for cultural projects in Greece under the General Block Exemption Regulation. The aid concerns the BArT festival in Larissa (€360,479), the Larissa International Film Festival (€401,824), the upgrade of the archaeological site of Knossos (€3,493,270), and the development of a digital interactive exhibition for the symphony orchestra at the Athens Concert Hall (€599,600). Funding comes primarily from the European Regional Development Fund, covering a significant percentage of the total costs. These aid packages aim to promote culture, innovation, tourism, and digital technology, as well as upgrade important archaeological sites.
