Deadly Crash in Bolivia, Van Driven by Teenager 'Crashes' into Tree

A tragic traffic accident in eastern Bolivia has claimed the lives of at least eleven people, including four minors. The van, driven by a teenager aged 13 to 14, went off the road and crashed into a tree near the village of Puerto Quijarro. Four people were hospitalized with injuries. According to police, some of the passengers were intoxicated. Bolivia records an average of 1,400 road deaths annually, due to driver carelessness and mechanical failures.
