Deloitte Enhances Omnia with GenAI and Agentic AI for the Audit of the Future

Deloitte has announced the integration of new Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, including Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI, into Omnia, its global cloud Audit & Assurance platform. This upgrade aims to improve the quality, efficiency and flexibility of audit services in a constantly evolving technological environment. GenAI simplifies and accelerates critical audit processes, such as document review, financial statement analysis, data extraction and risk identification. Agentic AI, in the form of digital partners, can perform specific audit tasks and analyze large volumes of data. Deloitte emphasizes that the implementation of AI is based on the Trustworthy AI™ framework, which ensures ethical use, security and compliance with regulations. The company has developed large language models and chatbots to support its professionals. Omnia, since its first release in 2015, has been recognized for its innovation, winning the “AI Innovation Initiative of the Year” award at the International Accounting Forum and Awards in 2024. The integration of AI is a strategic investment for Deloitte, aimed at providing high-quality audit services.
