First Foldable iPhone Expected in 2026, Leaked Photo Surfaces

Apple is expected to release its first foldable iPhone in 2026. Jon Prosser, a well-known Apple leaker, has shared a photo allegedly showing the new iPhone Fold. According to Prosser, Apple has settled on a book-style design, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Google Pixel Fold. The foldable iPhone is expected to have an external screen similar to a typical iPhone, with a thickness of approximately 9 millimeters. When unfolded, it will feature a 7.8-inch display, similar to that of an iPad, with an overall thickness of 4.5 millimeters. The device will have four cameras: one external, two rear, and one internal. One of the most interesting features is the potential return of Touch ID, instead of Face ID, on the power button. The price of the foldable iPhone is expected to be very high, ranging from $2,000 to $2,500. It will be available in two colors: black and white. Prosser claims that Apple has found a solution to the problem of the crease that appears at the folding point of foldable screens, a problem faced by its competitors.
