First Lady Hosts Foreign Correspondents at Presidential Palace

The First Lady, Philippa Karsera Christodoulidi, hosted foreign correspondents at the Presidential Palace during their visit to Cyprus. The First Lady presented a new exhibition highlighting the cultural, historical, and political evolution of the Republic of Cyprus, from colonialism to its accession to the European Union. The exhibition, titled “Cyprus: The World, the Place, the Reason, the Matter,” includes an interactive record of the history of the Presidential Palace and a collection of works by Cypriot artists. The First Lady emphasized the importance of supporting and promoting Cypriot culture and art, as well as the need for dialogue between history and contemporary expression. The visit of the correspondents takes place within the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU, with emphasis on the message of an Autonomous Europe, Open to the World.
