Five-Day Detention for 36-Year-Old in Connection with Car Theft

A 36-year-old man has been placed under five-day detention in Limassol in connection with a car theft case. The man denies involvement in the case, however, during a search of his home, police found parts believed to be from the stolen vehicle. The theft was reported last month. Police detained the 36-year-old following testimony linking him to the theft. The search of his home was carried out in order to collect additional evidence. The recovered parts are an important piece of evidence for the police. Despite the man's denial, the Limassol District Court issued a five-day detention order to facilitate police investigations. Police are expected to conduct further investigations to determine the man's involvement in the theft. The case is under investigation and police continue to collect testimonies and evidence to clarify the circumstances of the theft and determine whether the 36-year-old is indeed the perpetrator.
