Foreign Business Owners in Limassol Targeted by Criminals: Police Investigate Possible Connection

A series of criminal acts, including arson and shootings, have targeted business owners in Limassol, primarily foreigners. Authorities are investigating a possible connection between the attacks, as the victims appear to share common characteristics, such as foreign origin and permanent residence in the city. The attacks began on November 26th with the arson of luxury vehicles and continued with arson at car washes and attacks on stores. Police are considering the possibility that the motives are common and related to the business activities or personal relationships of the victims. One of the victims has been targeted twice and maintained friendly relations with the murdered Stavros Demosthenous, reinforcing the assumption of targeted action. Authorities have taken measures to protect the specific businessman.
