Greens Call for Haralambous' Resignation Following Karsera's Move: “Time for Institutional Safeguarding and Transparency”

The Citizens' Movement – Green Cooperation has called on the Director of the President's Office, Charalambos Haralambous, to take a similar step to First Lady Filippa Karsera and resign from the Management Committee of the Independent Social Support Agency. This move comes after Ms. Karsera's decision to step down from her position due to issues that arose regarding the transparency and funding of the Agency, as highlighted by a recent video that came to light. The Greens emphasize the need for institutional changes and transparency in the way the Agency operates, regardless of personal intentions. Furthermore, they mention that the Parliament had attempted to strengthen the transparency framework, but this effort was overturned by the Supreme Court.
