KEVE Congratulates Government on EU Presidency – Pledges Support

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEVE) warmly congratulated the government on assuming the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. KEVE recognizes the Presidency as a significant national responsibility and an opportunity for Cyprus to actively contribute to the shaping of European policies. The Chamber emphasized that the Presidency comes at a time of increased challenges and major transformations for the European economy, competitiveness and social cohesion. It commits to supporting the national effort by making its experience, knowledge and network available to the State. KEVE highlights the importance of close cooperation between the public and private sectors for the success of the Presidency and the promotion of Cyprus's role as a reliable and productive partner within the EU. It believes that this cooperation will contribute to the successful exercise of the Presidency and bring benefits to Cyprus and Europe. The Chamber wishes every success to the government and all those working for the successful exercise of the Presidency, expressing confidence that Cyprus will meet expectations and play an important role in the EU.
