Man Dies After Vehicle Plunges into Ravine in Paphos

A 32-year-old man, Stylianos Genis from Geroskipou, tragically lost his life in an accident in the Pentalia area of Paphos. While training his hunting dogs with a friend, his vehicle veered off a narrow rural road and fell into a ravine due to the soft, wet ground. The friend, who was outside the vehicle with the dogs, was unharmed. Police are investigating the cause of the accident, and the Fire Service extricated the victim. His death was confirmed by medical personnel at Paphos General Hospital. The accident occurred on a rural road between Pentalia and Amargeti around nine in the morning. The tragedy has plunged the family and friends of Stylianos into mourning.
