DISY MP Nikos Georgiou has raised serious concerns regarding a video circulating online, containing allegations of illegal funding, corruption, and collusion at the Presidential Palace. He called for a full and independent investigation into the events, as well as explanations from the government regarding the role of former Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis, who is alleged to have had strong connections to the Presidency. Mr. Georgiou questioned whether meetings with the Director of the President's Office via video call, as shown in the video, could be considered lobbying activities and whether they were declared as required by law. He also revisited the issue of anonymous donations to the Independent Social Support Agency, managed by the First Lady, and requested greater transparency regarding its donors.
