Partizan Loans Money... to Partizan to Pass UEFA Control!

Partizan faced financial difficulties in order to pass UEFA's financial control, necessary for participation in European competitions. Instead of taking a loan from the state, as is customary in Serbia, the football team borrowed 1.5 million euros from the basketball Partizan. This move, although unusual, was made to ensure the team's participation in Europe. The money is expected to be repaid to the basketball team after the sale of footballer Joao Grimaldo to Sparta Prague. This practice is not unprecedented in sports, with many clubs operating as a single organization and sharing their finances, such as Barcelona and Real Madrid.
