Tax Department Requests Submission of Details for Tax Deductions

The Tax Department is calling on employees affected by the tax reform to submit the Declaration for Claiming Tax Deductions (T.F.59) for the 2026 tax year, so that their employers can apply the new income tax withholding data. The Department has made available on its website an explanatory guide, frequently asked questions, and examples to facilitate public understanding and application of the new provisions. Also, an Income Tax Calculation Tool will soon be posted online for citizens to calculate the tax benefit from the reform. The T.F.59 Declaration includes only the amount of tax deductions claimed, without other details that could violate the General Data Protection Regulation. Timely submission of the declaration is important for the correct implementation of the tax reform.
