Emanuele Galeppini, a 16-year-old Italian international golfer who lived in Dubai, is the first identified victim of the tragedy at the Le Constellation club in Crans Montana, Switzerland, as authorities struggle to identify the dead and injured. Swiss officials state that the burns suffered by the young partygoers are so extensive that it will take days to identify all the victims. The death toll stands at 47, with over 100 injured, many in critical condition. The identification of the victims is slow and requires the use of dental records and DNA samples. According to testimonies, the fire started from fireworks used on champagne bottles. Authorities are investigating the cause of the tragedy.
