Trump Addresses Bruise on Hand, Cites Aspirin and Table Bump

Donald Trump attributed a visible bruise on his hand to bumping into a table and increased aspirin consumption. He explained that he takes a higher dose of aspirin than recommended by his doctors, as he wants to maintain his heart health. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt confirmed that the president bumped his hand on the corner of the table. Four doctors agreed that aspirin could have contributed to the severity of the bruise, as it increases the tendency to bleed. Trump has previously stated he takes a higher dose of aspirin to have 'thin blood,' while Levitt had attributed similar bruises to handshaking. Trump is the second-oldest president in US history.
