US Suffers Billions in Losses to Military Equipment in Iran Conflict

The United States has suffered significant losses in military equipment, estimated between $1.4 and $2.9 billion, during recent attacks in Iran. The losses include fighter jets (F-15E, F-35A), aerial tankers (KC-135), and drones (MQ-9 Reaper). An F-15E was accidentally shot down by a Kuwaiti fighter jet, and an F-35A made an emergency landing. Additionally, six crew members were killed in a collision of two KC-135s, and several drones were shot down or damaged. The Pentagon has submitted a request for $200 billion in supplemental funding to replace the lost equipment.
