What are the 'jihadist pills' seized in Paphos? The largest quantity found in Cyprus

The YKAN (Cyprus Drug and Customs Enforcement Unit) seized the largest quantity of Captagon pills ever found in Cyprus, a total of 804, during an operation in Paphos. Captagon, also known as 'jihadist pills', is used by ISIS fighters due to its stimulant properties. Along with the Captagon, other narcotics were also seized, including methamphetamine, ecstasy, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis, as well as a significant amount of cash. A 24-year-old Syrian asylum seeker was arrested and detained, while authorities are searching for other accomplices.
